Sprenger Geigenbau is the oldest shop for
stringed instruments in Switzerland. The business was established in 1917 in
St. Gallen by Fritz Sprenger. Christoph Sprenger and his son Raffael Sprenger
are currently directing the atelier. In 1998 there was a second atelier
opened in Berne, where the manager and luthier Daniel Kunzmann together with
luthier Andreas Kuerzi is on hand to offer expert help and advice.
In our main shop in St.
Gallen and in our premises in Berne you can find
a wide range of instruments made by masters of all schools,
as well as instruments for school and for rent which are good value. The
highest quality repair and restoration work is carried out as well as written or
verbal valuations. More
